TikTok is a Chinese video-sharing social networking service owned by ByteDance, a Beijing-based internet technology company founded in 2012 by Zhang Yiming.
Recently Zynn a rival was introduced to the market. Zynn works the same way like TikTok but google removed it from playstore following a reported case of plagiarism.
Why Zynn was removed from playstore
Zynn launched on iOS and Android in May quickly rocketed to the top of the charts. It was the most downloaded free iOS app in May and hit the top 10 charts on Google Play. That growth can be attributed to incentivizing users to recruit friends and watch videos.
Today it was removed from playstore although Zynn spokesman says they are working with google to solve the the issue and get back on track.
