The 2020 Richest Musicians list in Nigeria thus include:-
1. Davido
David Adeleke professionally called DAVIDO is no doubt the richest Nigerian musician. We are very strict in our listing. The 2020 richest musicians list in Nigeria will not go well if this great entrepreneur is not mentioned as the number one.
Davido is a known son of a famous business man Adeleke. This flows through to the act himself who isnt only talented in music but also gifted with business acumen. If there isn’t a clear evident of his origin one will be quick to label him an IGBO Man as igbos are synonymous to things like this.
We know the DMW boss is big name in African entertainment. The singer has bagged several international awards, performed on international stages while selling out shows around the world and featuring world famous acts like Chris Brown amongst others.
This isn’t as easy as one can think but Davido has a record label wherein all the artist are millionaires themselves. Such beautifies his pocket too and stands a perfect story of a successful Nigerian Musician and business man in one person.
2. Wizkid
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally called Wizkid is rated the 1st on the list 2020 Richest Nigerian Musicians but we are taking this so deep. We placed wizkid on Number 2. The Nigerian singer and songwriter began recording music at the age of 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.
Wizkid no doubt has been doing well but in terms of asset he is far from Davido. We love wizkid and here he makes our number 2 spot.

3. Don Jazzy
Don Jazzy is number 3 spot on our list of Nigerian richest musicians. The ace music producer Michael Ajereh Collins better known as Don Jazzy owns Mavin Records. This is record label that houses acts like Rema, Korede Bello, Dr Sid, D’Prince, Johnny Drille, POE, and recently Crayon etc.
We have seen a rough estimation of Don Jazzy’z net worth to be N8.7bn.
4. Mr. P (Peter Okoye)
Before now, Peter Okoye was not close to this spot in the richest musicians list but here he comes. It has been about two years since Peter separated from their former record label and formed his own. The defunt label used to be on number one spot but when they split it wasn’t easy to maintain that spot and today its still hard although Mr P eventually did a littel improvement with his newest business venture which happens to be zoom lottery.
Mr P Peter Okoye has a new clothing line he calls ZIP, much of the business is awaiting official unveiling. We are happy to have him here on number 4 spot of Nigerian richest musicians.
5. D’banj
Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo aka D’banj falls on number 5 spot on our list today. The DB Records boss is a consummate brand ambassador to multinational companies. He is the CEO of CREAM Platform, which was valued to be worth about $100,000,000 by an American firm. D’banj charges a fortune to mount the stage anywhere to perform a figure of about N6m he also made a runway debut in Johannesburg, South Africa. Last year he gave a rousing show at Global Citizen Festival Mandela 100 in South Africa last December. He is worth an estimated figure of about N6.2bn roughly quoted by allafrica.
6. 2Baba
Here comes 2Face aka 2Baba on number 6spot. 2baba marked his 20 years of being in the Nigerian music industry in collaboration with Trace Naija. We are happy for this legend. He is the 6th richest musician in Nigeria in our list of top richest Nigerian musicians. Currently 2baba has brand endorsement deal from the likes of Glo, Campari, etc.
In a deeper search we discovered 2baba stretched his investsment to real estate investment specializing in the nightlife business. 2Baba is worth 6billion Naira.
7. Timaya
Egberi Popsi comes harder taking up the number 7 spot on our list today. The Nigerian dancehall star Enitimi Alfred Odom better know as Timaya is our number 7 richest musicians. He owns DM Records and according to insider takes home about N8m to do his job at any occasion he is called upon to perform. Currently Timaya has a running endorsements deals with Nigerian TeleCo Glo and Cognac brand Hennessy all worth several millions of Naira.
We know about the billion dollar apartment Egberu Popsi showcase sometime last year. It costs money and thats part of what we calculate based on rough estimation.
8. Rudeboy (Paul Okoye)
Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy is back on the 8 spot. After enjoying the number one spot as a group he is far from maintaining the position on our list. This may reconcile the difference between being a performer and having the business side of the art managed to make big money. I feel something is wrong somewhere as the brother is currently doing better than him on our list of Nigerian top richest musicians. In our estimation Rudeboy is worth 5billion where in the brother is far bigger than this.
9. Banky W
Mr. Olubankole Wellington widely known by his stage name Banky W. is on our top list today. This wasn’t so sometime last 2 to 3 years. Last year the EME boss declared his interest to run for the office of the Member House of Representatives for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency. He did run and came first runner up on the platform of a relatively unknown party.
We know Banky W as a brand influencer and ambassador for multinational companies like Samsung, Uber, etc with benefits running in millions but today he counts in billions as a political candidate.
10. Flavour
Flavour N’abania is a contemporary highlife musician. He started making huge progress from playing at least three to seven shows every week with a high service charge. The athletic singer is a brand ambassador for Bullet Energy drink, Life Lager Beer, etc.
Flavour is worth some big cash. We retrieved his networth from Allafrica to be N3.7 billion.
