Liverpool cruising so easily to the title:
The commanding premier league leaders Liverpool have been so exceptional this season winning almost all their matches this season losing only once to Watford (3-0) and recorded two draws with Manchester United (1-1) and Everton (0-0).
Liverpool enjoyed a 44 match unbeaten run in the league; the second best streak in the top-flight history before being ended by Watford on the 29th February, 2020.
Liverpool FC set English top flight record of 22 consecutive wins (still ongoing), beating same record set by them in 1972 and matched the premier League record of 18 consecutive wins this season (2019-2020).
They are on the first position with 86 points ahead of Manchester City who are on 63 points that’s relatively 20 points above, as Man City have one Match in hand.

Meanwhile, the match last night appeared easy for them as they remained in control all through. It was Trent Alexander-Arnold that gave them the lead in the 23rd minutes with a sublime free kick; Mohamed Salah doubled it in the 44th minute before half time. Fabinho went on to add to the tally in the 55th minute, before Sadio Mane wrapped it up in the 69th minute.
Liverpool’s victory last night means they would be crowned champions tonight for the first time after 30 years should Manchester City fail to beat Chelsea tonight. And if Manchester City beats Chelsea today, then Liverpool would need a point at the Etihad Stadium by next week to clinch the title.
Would Manchester City be able to delay the party tonight? lets watch and see.
