How to update Virtualmin to latest version manually when installed from webmin

There is always a problem when you want to upgrade virtualmin especially if you did not install through the official recommendation. If you are having issues upgrading simply follow below instruction.

1. Visit https://www.webmin.com
2. Click on virtualmin on the menu
3. Click Other downloads
4. Scroll down and copy out the third link that ended with .gpl.wbm.gz extension
5. Log in to webmin and go to the home screen.
6. Click on ‘webmin’ in the menu in the top left corner to expand the ‘webmin’ menu.
7. Click on ‘Webmin Configuration’.
8. Click on the ‘Webmin Modules’
9. Check the radio button labeled ‘From ftp or http URL’ .
10. Paste the link in the corresponding text field and click ‘Install Module’.
11. Click ‘Install Module” button.
