How to Remove Weird UTM Tags From Your WordPress RSS URLs
If you are getting utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign= appended to your url here is the solution on how to remove it.
I was getting weird endings on my WordPress URLs in the form of UTM RSS tags. These tags help Google Analytics track actions on your website. Monster Insights plugin adds these tags by default but there is an easy way to remove them.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to WP Dashboard
- Click Settings under Insights on the left hand column
- Click Engagement
- Under Link Attribution Disable Tag links in RSS by turning it to the left side. That’s it! Hope this helps.
