Jacob Tyler Thureson was born in Manila, Philippines. His father Erik Thureson is a filmmaker. Hella Sketchy made a name for himself as a rapper on Soundcloud at the age of 16 , especially since he produced most of his beats himself. [1] [2] His video Spent a Check reached over 1.3 million views on YouTube . [3] Musically, he was the trap and the cloud rap close. In addition to his own music, he ran his own beat store with around 300 beats for sale. Even if he does a lot of gangsta rap in the typical autotune rap style-Topics, Christian topics can also be found in his lyrics. In March 2019 he released his self-titled mixtape on the Cupid Soldiers label and was able to sign a contract with Atlantic Records . On June 13, 2019, his parents found the 18-year-old rapper passed out after an overdose . He was resuscitated and taken to a Los Angeles hospital. There he was pronounced dead after 14 days in an artificial coma on June 27, 2019 at 5:11 am. His death caused dismay around the world.
