When do A-level results come out?
A-level results is already out today Tuesday 10 August 2021.
In Scotland, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) publishes its examination results online on the same day as GCE results are released this year (Tuesday 10 August 2021) – the same day your Scottish Qualifications Certificate arrives by post.
This year’s results day had originally been planned for Tuesday 24 August, but the date has been brought forward by just under two weeks to allow students time to appeal any results that may have affected their application for university.

What will I receive on the day?
In previous years, all school/college students in the UK would receive their exam results and final grades on A-level results day.
However, with exams being cancelled in 2020/21 due to the coronavirus pandemic, these grades have been teacher-assessed using a range of evidence – for example, mock exams and other work completed during the academic year.
Students in Wales were told their provisional grades in June, allowing two additional months for appeals ahead of the final award.
